Turbo tax sent email with $30 off. But I don't see that $30 take out from my total payment.

Was it for $30 if you filed before March 1?  There will be a price increase on Mach 1.

What the heck!  I didn't get my $30 off either, email coupon said file before 3/1/22!!!!  Never got an opportunity to enter a code or anything.  When selecting version of Turbo Tax, I only had 2 options, and the $30 wasn't deducted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The $30 is not deducted.  The price is going UP $30 on March 1.   You have to file or pay now to lock in the lower price.   You can pay early before filing.

I don't work for TurboTax, but I'll take a guess.  Could the email have said save "Up to $30?"

If so, then it may be referring to the price increase expected on March 1.   For example:

Self-Employed Edition:  will go from $89 to $119   (saves $30)

Premier:  will go from $69 to $89  (saves $20)

Deluxe:   will go from $39 to $59  (saves $20)

If you pay before midnight Feb 28, it should lock in the lower price.  You don't have to file it yet.  It's the paying that locks in the price.   We can tell you how to pay in advance.

Or did your email actually have a discount code?
