Turbo Tax say no internet when trying to verify my software, yet here I am.

I installed my software from the disc. It updated and then when it opens up it says "You're Not Connected to the Internet" when it's  in the Activation stage.  I have 6 years of TurboTax installed on this computer and this is the first time it can't connected to the Internet. I've reboot my computer and I don't have any issue with it connecting to anything else so I don't know how to tell if my computer is preventing it or not. I've searched in the website but I get nothing close to my issue in the search results.

I've seen a couple folks who had to turn off their VPN  (if you are using one)

Otherwise, try Customer Support...they may have you uninstall and have you use the procedure to get a download copy to install  (The CD is essentially, a very-early beta version...full of bugs ((Opinion..yeah))):

Thanks. I don't have a VPN running so I don't know. It updated again but yet failed the verification process, I'll give them a call.

The solution for my issue seemed to be to run it as Administrator even though I'm the only one on this computer. If the first 20 times of you trying it that way doesn't work then try it again for the 21st time once you have tech support on the phone as apparently that makes all the difference in the world.
