turbo tax review of schedule D says "date sold is not in the tax year" (but it is)

I'm using the 2019 business/trust version of turbotax. When I run the review an error is posted on schedule D saying that "date sold is not in the tax year".  I'm using TurboTax 2019 and the sale is listed as "01/07/2019". There are several of these and they all post an error. Is this something obvious that I'm missing or is it a program bug? date acquired is listed as "various". thx

@smishke Make sure you have selected the proper tax year. Occasionally, users will inadvertently select a fiscal, or short, tax year that falls outside the "date sold" parameters.

Try deleting everything in the date field and manually re-entering. There may be a hidden character in there especially if the date was copy and pasted or imported.

@Anonymous_- you are exactly right! It's a complex trust and not the final year. I listed as a short year thinking that the owner of the trust died in June so I listed it as a short year and set the start to june. So I guess I should list a normal year instead?
