I'm trying to report foreign interest income which is less than $100, but the Turbo tax website this year keeps sending it to Review and doesn't allow me to proceed. I even tried 11-1111111 just like previous years and it still did not allow. What can we do to bypass this check and complete tax filing
Since Turbo Tax has bug and isn't allowing us to report interest income without FEIN. Can we report interest income using Other Miscellaneous Income?
Even with 99-9999999 I'm getting the same error. We can enter the form, but in the end during final Review that website doesn't allow me to proceed. So all the effort in entering the details is a waste now. So can I use Other Miscellaneous Income to report interest for which I don't have 1099-INT forms
Yes. Use other miscellaneous income and identify it as 1099 INT income just to get your return filed.
