Turbo tax keeps wanting me to fix an entry on dependents. But the software won't let me fix it! How do I get past this glitch???

What does it want you to fix?

Often the best way is to delete the dependent completely and then  re-enter - reading every question carefully and using the "explain this" if you are not sure of the answer.
