Turbo Tax is telling me I have to upgrade to deluxe to file a 1040 also. Why do I have to file it? Is it because I am claimed as a dependent on someone else's taxes?

If you are a homeowner or need to take any deductions on Schedule A, or if you have a 1099, you will need to file with Deluxe.
