Turbo tax (iMac Desktop) keeps telling me my routing number has too many digits.

When finalize my taxes and error keeps popping up that I have entered too many digits for a routing number. I have verified my USAA routing number. In this case it even auto-populated from the previous year, where the tax return went through fine. I have entered and re-entered the correct nine digit routing number with no luck. Any ideas?
