Turbo Tax has doubled the amount of my 1099-int

I have looked at the community forums and saw that this is an issue for some people.

I am using the Turbo Tax Deluxe 2020 service and I have uploaded my 1099-INT document. The reported interest income is 780.42. However, when I submit it, Turbo Tax reports it as doubled - 1560.84.

Answers to previous similar questions consisted of deleting a form. However, there are no duplicate forms for me to delete. It seems like this is just an error on Turbo Tax's part. How do I get this fixed? I want to report the correct amount of interest received -- not a doubled amount and not nothing either.

Lacking any other information, I would have to wonder if the upload process failed. 

 

I would make sure that I had a copy of your 1099-INT or at least a written copy of all the information on the 1099-INT, then delete the uploaded 1099-INT, then re-add the 1099-INT manually.
