Also, I tried starting a new return from scratch, and it did the same thing with my address and made the country Italy. This is the same address I've been using for the past 13 years...
Ah! I quit TurboTax and restarted and now it seems fixed. This all occurred after I updated.

Ok, I quit turbotax and inputted my U.S. address information again and now all seems to be well. Phew...
Keep in mind that clearing your cache and cookies can also be very helpful when you experience unusual behavior in any software. It handles many issues that seem nonsensical on a regular basis.
Watch to be sure you are selecting 'all time' as example. Do not use selections like 'last hour' for those browsers that give you options.
