Trying to manually enter 1099-INT information and receiving an error message.

Under the wages and income section, I am trying to add my 1099-INT information. My bank is not in the TurboTax system, and I made less than $10 in interest, so I don't have a physical document to upload. When I select to enter the amount manually, I receive an error message. "Looks like we hit a snag." I've tried multiple times and no luck.

log out, then try a different browser....and make sure you skip trying to enter your bank name until you get to the actual tax form.

(As a last resort, you could try deleting all the cookies in whatever browser you are using)

1) Instead, select - Change How I enter my Form (near the bottom of the screen)
Then
2) Next screen, select - I'll Type it in Myself

Thank you very much for your recommendations. Unfortunately, I am still experiencing the same issue. Are there any other suggestions?

Desktop, or Online software?

IF Desktop Windows TTX software, check for any waiting/partially installed Windows OS updates.  Waiting updates are known to cause TTX software issues.

Even if none are waiting  (or even if you are using the Online Browser-based software)...do a full reboot of your computer and try again.

Hello! I am using the online software. I'll do a reboot to see if that helps.

Unfortunately, still no luck. I am wondering if it is a bug in the software. Any other recommendations are much appreciated.

For the "Online" users, TTX staff usually suggest the following.

1) Use a different browser to open your tax file

or

2) Clear cache and cookies in whatever browser you are using, and then try again.

All I can think of.  Other than calling Customer Support as long as you are NOT using the "Free" version:

Getting this error every time trying to enter 1099 information manually.  Is Intuit looking at this?  Will be unable to file via TurboTax if cannot enter all capital gains/losses through their software and will have to look elsewhere.
Seems to be widespread so I would hope there is an open ticket working the issue that has been ongoing for at least 2 weeks now.

@drazgo

Please call Customer Support...nothing gets fixed if they don't issue a ticket for the problem...once they work thru it with you to make sure you are not just pressing the wrong buttons:
