Trying to import last year's desktop version pdf that is saved correctly and getting an error message that last year's pdf is too big to import?

You cannot use a PDF to transfer information from your 2023 TurboTax tax return to start your 2024  tax return. You need the .tax2023 data file.

@Airline6563   Depends on how you did  your tax return last  year.  Did you use Turbo Tax?  The Online version or the Desktop program?   You need the tax data file ending in .tax2023 to Transfer into 2024.  If you used the Online version for 2023 and now for 2025 you just need to log into the same account and it will automatically transfer.  

Are you on Windows or Mac?  The tax files should be in your Documents in a Turbo Tax folder.  Or search you computer for all files ending in .tax or .tax2023.
