There are some less common forms that are not supported in the program. It will let you enter the amount of the credit to compute the taxes, however, you have to complete the K-35 manually and then enter the credit amount. The return must also be paper-filed. <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://www.ksrevenue.org/pdf/k-35.pdf">http://www.ksrevenue.org/pdf/k-35.pdf</a>
I filled out the K-35 manually but the program shows it as non-refundable credit while the form shows that I have a refundable credit that has a carry-forward to next year.
This is what I saw on the K-35 that is limited to KS tax.
LINE 8 – Enter your Kansas tax liability after all credits other than
this credit.
LINE 9 – Enter the lesser of lines 7 or 8. Enter this amount on the
appropriate line of Form K-40,
Thanks for the help. Maybe for 2017 the K-35 could be include in the program since it is used more than most people think.
I am dealing with the same issue. Was this ever added? I have already submitted and my return was accepted. If I amend and add this, how do I do it without the form integrated in Turbo Tax?
Thanks for the quick response. How do I go about this? I have already submitted and have had my state tax approved. I need to amend and add two K-35 forms (two projects). What are my next steps?
Print the state return and manually make the changes to the return. May print a blank K-40 to do this also.
I will provide feedback on this form to see what we can do.
If I fill this out manually then how do I amend or send in?
