Are you trying to open the .tax2022 file in the Desktop installed program? You need to first install a state program.
Error Code 119
Try updating the program and then download any state programs you used. Go to top menu item Online - Check for updates. You may have to start a fake return to download the state. Go up to File-New and start a fake return, then go to the State tab and download the state program. Then try opening your .tax2022 file, go up to File-Open.
Make sure that .tax2022 datafile that you are attempting to open, is on your main system disk...and not on a flash drive or removable usb disk. If you downloaded it to a flashdrive...don't use that file....redownload that datafile to your main system's drive..or even desktop.
Not sure they can help, but you could call Customer Support. They may walk you thru it again. step by step to see if you are messing up somewhere. But again...make absolutely sure any state(s) in that datafile are first installed in the software, before attempting to open the datafile.
