To download amended Wells Fargo 1099, I need to delete previous download. Where all do I do that? And has anyone else had this problem?

I originally downloaded my WF 1099 successfully, but now I need to do the amended form.  That isn't working.  WF IT says "delete information that you had entered previously," and I have tried to do so, but still not downloading.

To delete and re-download your now corrected Form 1099-B,

  • Click on Search
  • In the Search Window type Jump to 1099-B
  • Click on Jump to 1099-B
  • Click Delete for the account you want to delete and confirm
  • Click + Add an Account
  • Answer Yes to "Did you get a 1099-B or a brokerage statement for these sales?"

Continue to download the Corrected Form 1099-B

  • Click on Jump to 1099-B
  • Click Delete for the account you want to delete and confirm
  • Click + Add an Account
  • Answer Yes to "Did you get a 1099-B or a brokerage statement for these sales?"

First THANKS to TurboTaxDavidD for a quick, logical response.  Unfortunately, I deleted this account and still cannot download.  Guess I will just type it all in (#%%^).
