This is the first time I'm doing self employed taxes and I was wondering what would my work industry be considered if I resell clothes on depop?

I'm not sure if there is a specific name for reselling clothes on an app. If it is called:
 e-commerce or online sales? Or simply Online Reselling?

Any of the choices you listed are acceptable - E-commerce, Online sales or Online Reselling.

 

Your description of the "work industry" or "type of work" won't change your tax calculation. It helps us personalize your info and get you the best possible tax breaks. 

 

For example, I chose "Retail" for the "I work in...." screen and the following screen gave some additional questions to help focus the remaining interview questions. See the attached screenshots as an example.
