This is an angry comment, not a question!! YOU HAVE PROBABLY LOST A CUSTOMER, AS IF YOU REALLY CARE

I just received the email this morning about TurboTax ceasing support for Windows 10 starting for the 2025 tax year.  I have a $1500 laptop that still works very well, but was purchased with the LAST Intel Processor that can't install Windows 11.  I will still be on Windows 10 for at least the next year because I have to stay on it until or unless I am ready to spend a lot of money to replace this very good laptop.  And I will replace it on my own timetable, NOT YOURS!!!!!  I have already set my computer up to receive extended Windows 10 Security Updates for at least the next year.  I could care less about having no more Windows 10 feature updates.  In the previous Windows updates, there were not such strict (and ridiculous IMO) hardware updates, so I would have had the choice to ugrade Windows, which I always did.  YOU HAVE PROBABLY LOST A CUSTOMER.  I AM NOT GOING TO STORE MY TAX INFORMATION ON ANYBODY'S ONLINE SOFTWARE.  TALK ABOUT A SECURITY ISSUE.  Unless Intuit has a change of policy on this due to extreme blowback, I hope you lose MILLIONS OF CUSTOMERS.  I AM VERY ANGRY.  I will find another way to deal with my taxes going forward.  GOOD RIDDANCE!!!!

If your CPU/motherboard is not ancient, see youtube for how to get past hardware checks to successfully  install Win 11 .
