Are you still experiencing issues?  If so, please provide the rejection code and message you are receiving.

I am having this issue with error code F8962-006-01....but than it also says when I log in that it is a processing error on the IRS end and I can't refile until Feb 3rd or after since the processing error won't be fixed until Feb 3rd. So which is it? Y'all fill out Form 8962 so if it's wrong y'all need to fix it not me or is it the IRS and their crap? Cause I'm over the bs.from.this year already!

Same, irs be on bs every single year! It wasn’t an issue taking my money out of my check so it shouldn’t be one when giving my money back

Error message F8962-006-01 is a code from the IRS to explain the rejection. It does refer to Form 8962, which reconciles the Advanced Premium Tax Credit from your Form 1095-A

Our information for this code is "This return cannot be electronically filed at this time due to a processing error that will be corrected on February 3, 2022. On, or after February 3, 2022, open the rejected return, review it for errors, and resubmit the return for electronic filing."

The IRS just began accepting e-filed returns on Jan 24th and this early in the season it is not uncommon for there to be updates.  Please review the 1095-A area in your return, after February 3rd, when the updates should be in place. Then, refile and it should be accepted.

Same here. I'm so upset. After looking at the IRS response, it appears that the Turbo Tax calculation is correct. I'm not sure why they are rejecting the returns.

Same situation, rejection 8962

Same F8962-006-01

If Form 8962, Line 1 'TotalExemptionsCnt' has a non-zero value, then Line 5 'FederalPovertyLevelPct' must be equal to Line 3 'HouseholdIncomeAmt' divided by Line 4 'PovertyLevelAmt'.

What needs to be done:
This return cannot be electronically filed at this time due to a processing error that will be corrected on February 3, 2022. On or after February 3, 2022 open the rejected return, review it for errors, and resubmit the return for electronic filing.

at least it is not a major thing. It is not my fault, it turbotax or IRS I dont.

Why does all the other tax services not have this problem? I called 3 or 4 and they have no issues??

Ugh. Does anyone know if we can file again with another company? I read other posts that have refilled with TurboTax and were rejected again.

This is frustrating, we have to wait till Feb 3rd to fix this issue.

I don’t know if you can file with other company, thus will be my last time using turbo tax. I was with HR block and never had issue and now I switched to turbo tax to be welcomed by an error

This is not the case. My error said the percentage calculation is incorrect for line 5. This appears to be with Turbo Tax only. I also checked with my sister that used HR Block. Hers was accepted.

I'm wondering the same thing!!! I'm in the same boat. This is ridiculous and no one knows what this code is!

F8962-006-01  I received the same rejection code. I triple checked all my numbers before filing too. So quick to take payment but always something when it comes to refunds. Talk about irritated 😠 I needed my refund and now I have to wait and try to refile after 2/3/2022

It’s so annoying. My sister filed the same form with HR Block and was accepted. I don’t get it. Seems like most rejections are with Turbo Tax.

Same here, I checked my forms and can’t file until February 3rd.

Whose fault is this rejection code. Others that used HR Block didn’t have this issue. I paid for the Deluxe because I was told I had to for the healthcare form and I got rejected and have to wait. Shouldn’t someone be offering refunds to us then? This will be the last year with TurboTax, I have always used TurboTax but lately it doesn’t live up to what it once did.

I keep getting the same rejection code, have watched step by step and everything is in there that is supposed to, so are we being punished and having to wait longer to file due to an error from irs?

Have you been able to refile yet with Turbo Tax or another company? The system won’t allow me until Feb 3rd, along with so many others.

No I haven't tried because I don't want to mess it up anymore.  I talked to Jackson Hewitt and they have no problems and called h&r block and they have no issues. So I feel we need more explanation and a refund or 50% off at least.  I know looking at the schedule of when you file puts us probably first week in March if we're lucky! Has anyone talked to turbo tax?
