The website keeps automatically starting 2024 taxes,when I’m trying to file 22019 taxes, how do I get around this

Sorry you can no longer use Turbo Tax to prepare or amend a 2019 return.   Not Online and not using the Desktop program.  You need to do it yourself or go to a local tax place or accountant.

 

If you have a simple return and want to file 2019 for free you can fill out the forms by hand.  Here are some basic forms.....

Some other tax software companies might still have software available for 2019.


It's too late to get a refund for 2019. You can file the tax return, but if it shows a refund you will not get the refund. If it shows a payment due, you have to pay the tax you owe, plus penalties and interest for late filing and late payment.
