The website is not reading my 1099-INT as a 1099-INT, I have the correct document but it is telling me it is incorrect and won't take the pdf. Help?

TurboTax offers the option to import a document such as a 1099 from the payer, or to upload a photo, but not a PDF.

 

You can also enter the information from 1099-INT manually, which may be the easiest option.

 

In TurboTax Online:

 

1. Type 1099-int in the search box and click search.
2. Click on Jump to 1099-int.
3. On the landing screen, click on I'll type it in myself.
4. Enter your IRS interest form and continue.
5. Enter the Institution ( Internal Revenue Service ) Name.
6. Enter your interest in Box 1 and any other information.
