The US Dept of Education says that I need proof that I filed my 2017 taxes claiming head of household correctly. Is there a way I can do this through turbo tax?

TT goes by your data entry and answers to the questions.  What the DOE wants is actual proof that you meet the requirements: such as having a qualifying dependent, providing more than 50% of the support for the entire household for the entire year, not living with your spouse, etc.  Only you can provide that.

No they want an official letter from a tax preparer. It has to be on company letter head and it needs to state that they have reviewed my taxes and I filed correctly.
