The system is forcing me to enter an EIN for Lyft. I am a contractor driving for Lyft and we are never given that number. Only actual employees get the EIN on their W2.

If you have a 1099-k or 1099-misc from Lyft, then you need to include the EIN from the payer.

Lyft EIN is 20-8809830

Your income from Lyft can be entered in TurboTax without the address and EIN.

From the Self-employed summary, select Add income from this work. Then, under COMMON INCOME, select Other self-employed income, includes 1099-K, cash, and checks and Continue. There is only a description line here, no EIN requirement.
