I already entered some 2024 tax info, since there was no 2023 info transfered , can I start all over again - download the TurboTax, install and transfer the tax data file?

If you were trying to transfer the 2023 information in to start your 2024 return, you needed the .tax2023 file, not a pdf. You get almost nothing from a pdf. If you want to transfer 2023 you will have to start over.

Are you using desktop download or are you using online TurboTax?
