The recap says my income was 19k but I went back and reviewed the section. Its way more. Where is this incorrect amount coming from?

Also what should I do to fix it?

Your total income, or your adjusted gross income after deductions? Preview your tax return and look at the following lines.

Line 9 - total income

Line 11 - adjusted gross income

Line 15 - taxable income

Line 24 - total tax
