The name on one of my 1099 forms is not my legal name

I deliver food through delivery app services (Uber Eats, DoorDash, etc). I prefer to go by my middle name, and one of the companies I used to deliver for used that name on my 1099-NEC instead of my legal name - despite me telling them several times to correct that (one of the reasons I no longer work with them is due to their poor listening skills...).

Is this going to be a problem with the IRS?

No. The IRS matches by social security number. If you report your 1099-NEC on your return you should not have a problem with IRS.
