The 'More details' link in the Program Updates dialog box takes me to the Intuit home page/logon and offers no explanation of the update. Where are these details?

That problem has been reported.

Go to this TurboTax support FAQ for the latest release updates - https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/3169946-turbotax-2018-release-notes-for-windows-personal-tax-softw...

This issue (More Details link from TurboTax Updater is linking to an outdated URL, which then forwards the user to the generic TurboTax support page) has not been fixed.

The link in your reply to this post is also out of date.

That link was for tax year 2018 so is no longer valid.

TurboTax has made the decision not to provide the 2019 Release Notes updates.  The More Details link in the TurboTax Updater window will be removed from the program at a later date.

Ugh, I tried that and it wants me to call and speak to someone. I just want to report it online and get it fixed. I'm sure the person I speak to on the phone will not have a solution.

Yes, I found another thread where this is being discussed and that seems to be the answer (which is unacceptable).

So why still have the dead link in the Updater window.   Why not fix it?

I'm guessing they will say that they have higher priority stuff to fix, like getting all of the forms ready to submit and fixing bugs that affect tax computation and filing.
