The church I work for doesn't have an EIN. Is there a way I can e-file?

You can always report cash income and e-file your return - no 1099-MISC or Payer Tax ID No. is required. You will, however, have to report this as "Self-employed" income and pay "self-employment" tax.

If you are using the TurboTax Self-employed program, see the following TurboTax FAQ:

How did the church report your income to you? Do they just pay you cash?
