The address on my tax return is different from my current address. How do I change my current mailing address to ensure my refund is sent to the correct address?

In MY INFO make sure the address you entered is the address you want the IRS and state to use if they need to mail you a letter or a check.  The address you enter in My Info is the address that will go on your tax return.  That is the address the IRS or state will use.

If you already e-filed with the wrong address on your Form 1040 you need to send a change of address to the IRS asap.
