The address on my 1099-INT will not let me change. IT is saying NE but it's NJ

The IRS does not track Form 1099-INT by the address.  It is tacked by Federal identification Number FIN so you do not have to change the address, enter the form with NE it will allow you to continue and will not impact your return.

actually, the only items needed are payer and amount.

Guess you are going to have to move to Nebraska!  lol
