Texas Sales tax

I’m about to launch a shirt making small business through Shopify. Am I required to charge sales taxes if I’m located in Texas? Should I register for a sales tax permit?

This forum deals with income tax issues ... contact your local sales tax agency for information on collection of sales taxes.

probably, but this is an income tax forum not a sales tax one. to get more info contact the Texas governmental agency that handles sales tax.
