TECH SUPPORT | Review page stuck on white screen and won't move forward to file.

Stays white and won't load

I don't mind that my refund is showing in the image. I tried both Safari and Chrome but it won't continue. The rest of the filing was working fine up to this point.

I tried calling support but it says I need to spend $30 for the pro account to talk to someone.

Try again:

What is the TurboTax phone number? (intuit.com)

You do not need to spend any money for a software issue or glitch.

Ok ... first check to see if you have any OS updates that needs to be installed.  Then reboot the computer at least twice.  Then clear your cookies & browser history  and try again.

  1. Follow the prompts to set up a call
    • Free Edition (without PLUS): This is not covered, so when you select Talk to a specialist, you'll be asked to add PLUS benefits first.

Please try the following steps which may help clear the blank screen you are experiencing:

  • Log completely out of Turbo Tax.
  • Then, clear your cache and cookies within your browser and completely close out of it.  I have included the Help Articles below if you need assistance with clearing cache or cookies.
  • Re-open the browser and log back into Turbo Tax and see if this fixes the situation.
    • You can also try a different browser as well, or "incognito mode".

If none of the above steps resolve the issue, please reach back out here in the thread and someone will follow up with the next steps.

Cleared cache and cookies from all time

Incognito window

Still no dice. Cleared cache and cookies from "all time" in Chrome and used an incognito window.

It is still frozen and won't let me file my taxes.

Brave Mobile

Tried Brave, a third browser, on mobile and still a blank screen.

Would tech support please help me so that I don't need to go to a competitor?

Completing the free option shouldn't require tech support.

I already replied to you. The bot says I need to pay to speak to a human.

Tell them you have a program problem, not a tax issue.

Then point me to the software tech support category on this forum. As far as I can tell, there isn't one.

It still wouldn't work for me.

White screen.

But I figured out ON MY OWN WITH NO THANKS TO TURBOTAX STAFF that you can skip the review section and go straight to Finish & File.

How did you skip that review order page?

I talked to tech support twice with no luck. They basically told me I needed to clear and delete and start over. I don’t understand that at all. With this being a problem, there has to be a fix other than starting over completely. Odd.

Hello, you stated that you were able to just go to finish and file? When I hit the 3 lines on the top right I don’t see a “finish and file” option just “file” and that is where my issue occurs. Could you enlighten me on where the “finish and file” happen to be?

Can you please tell me how you skipped the review section and went straight to Finish and File? I'm not seeing any option like that at all on my side and I'm losing my mind trying to file.

If you're using TurboTax Online, close the program, clear your Cache and Cookies, and reopen the program.  You can click the FILE tab in the left-side menu.

If you're using TurboTax Desktop, click on the FILE tab at the top.
