TD Bank never shows up in the 1099-INT drop-down, yearly. I need to enter the interest -- am not sure the 1099-INT will import because my interest was less than $10?

With your total interest amount being less than $10, the bank would not have been required to issue a Form 1099-INT.  It would be easy to type the information yourself if you know how much interest you received.

Use the following steps to go to the Interest Income section of your return.  You will indicate that you received interest from TD Bank and type the amount you received in box 1.

  • On the top row of the TurboTax online screen, click on Search (or for CD/downloaded TurboTax locate the search box in the upper right corner)
  • This opens a box where you can type in “1099-INT” (be sure to enter exactly as shown here) and click the magnifying glass (or for CD/downloaded TurboTax, click Find)
  • The search results will give you an option to “Jump to 1099-INT
  • Click on the blue “Jump to 1099-INT” link
