Tax Year Prior to 2020: I searched how to log into IDnotify and the response says to look at an email they sent. I don't trust emails due to phishing. How do I know the email is legit?

I tried clicking Forgot Password, but received no reset email. I know I have purchased the benefits. I get emails, but again, I need to know how to login without clicking an  email that could be phishing.

Whenever you do not want to click on a link in an email you can go directly to the website :

Critter, doesn't work.  Currently am on hold with IDnotify.  On hold for 4:31 minutes.  Glad I didn't really have my identity stolen.  Not making me feel very secure...isn't that their reason for existence?  Oh 5:53 minutes...at least they are playing some good blues.

Sending a link within an email is a way to verify the other party. If you are sure you were the one who requested the service and the website you made the request is legit, then you should trust the email. It is just another way of authenticating the other party in this case, you.
