Tax Year Prior to 2020: Does anyone know when the EV form will be ready? It shows form 8834 is available but I am still unable to pull it up.

Form 8834 will be in this week's release.  We do not yet have an exact date/time, which is why the form is currently absent from the list.  

 

I have this post on my watch list today and will return this afternoon to let you know I have learned, or sooner if I get confirmation of a release date.  

 

I apologize for the delays and all of the confusion about this form. 

 

We know it's frustrating to wait and even more frustrating when we cannot provide exact dates and times. It is important that we provide an accurate, quality product for our customers and sometimes that takes a little longer than we'd like.  ​​​​​​​

Are you referring to Form 8936?

 

It should be available 24 hours after the IRS approves TurboTax to use the form. Currently, the IRS has not finalized the form. Here is the IRS web page to check the status of form 8936: Available Forms and Limitations. Scroll down to Form 8936.

Actually it was included in today update and is currently available in the desktop version - online versions should be update in a few hours.
