** TAX YEAR 2018 or earlier** We are claiming a home office, but not self employed. Do we still need to use the self employed version or does a lower version cover this?"

We are not located within a daily drive of our closet office.

If you are an employee claiming home office expense, you can use TurboTax Deluxe

To enter employee business expenses (such as a home office):

  • Type in 2106 in the search box, top right of your screen, then click the magnifying glass

  • Click the jump to 2106 link in the search results.

  • Follow the prompts and onscreen instructions
