Tax Withholding by Quarter dates not correct

TurboTax Home & Business 2024 on a Mac desktop.

Using the EasyStep method to annualize income and report tax withholding, the dates requested by TurboTax on the tax withholding screen do not match the official IRS form or TurboTax's Form 2210.

The Tax Withholding by Quarter screen shows the following, with a text box to the right of each date range:

Enter your total withholding for all four quarters. Do not include any estimates. Enter zeros for periods for which there was no withholding.

1/1/2024 - 4/15/2024

4/16/2024 - 7/15/2024

7/16/2024 - 9/15/2024

9/16/2024 - 12/31/2024

Although the program shows 7/15/2024 and 7/16/2024, the actual date range on the IRS Form 2210 is 4/16/2024 - 6/15/2024. TurboTax takes the data entered by the user in the "4/16/2024 - 7/15/2024" field and puts it into the 4/16/2024-6/15/2024 range box on the IRS Form, causing TurboTax to erroneously report to the IRS the user possibly paid more tax than what was actually withheld during that time period.

Thank you very much for reporting what you observed in your Mac desktop Home and Business version.  I just confirmed in a scenario that the error in the withholding quarter dates also occurs in my Windows Deluxe version when going through the underpayment interview.   I've enclosed a couple of screenshots below and will notify a Moderator so that TurboTax developers can be informed.  Thanks again!
