Tax code 151 appeals right what does it mean? Then says tell tax operator reference number 1242

What happen after. That

I send all info back in after i got the later so why i haven't received my refund

I mean the letter i received in the mail about more info and I returned all my info back to them why I haven't received my refund yet

Only the IRS can answer that, so call them.

I got topic 151 first time what it means

Code 1242 simply means that your return was e-filed at least 3 weeks ago, and your refund is frozen while the IRS asks for more information. You will get a letter from the IRS.

I received a code 1242, and now when inquire about my taxes on Where's my refund? irs.gov  the message I'm getting is....."We have received your tax return and it is being processed." The funny thing is.... I e.filed my state taxes 3 weeks latter then my federal and I have already received my state refund back.

@tommywasz they'll be sending letters out in a couple weeks listing information needed to move the taxes along .

What info did they ask for.
