I did 2 things today. Updated TurboTax software as requested upon opening and imported 1099B from JP Morgan. Data from JP Morgan came down with no error messages but I am stuck on a page "Confirm Your Financial Institution info". JP Morgan or Chase isn't on the drop down list. I enter "JP Morgan", "JP Morgan Securities", or "J.P. Morgan" , hit continue, page reloads with Financial Institution Info blanked out. Software won't complete the 1099B import without this.
I think I might have the answer. Per the "paper" copy, my JP Morgan Brokerage account did not receive a 1099-B. But a phantom 1099B was received through the import (TT shows a 1099B with blank amount for JP Morgan in the 1099B section). My theory is that whatever I input will never match because the data it is trying to match to is null, hence, putting me in an infinite loop.
I am using TT Deluxe to import my 1099b from JPMorgan Securities. The instructions are to obtain an Identity Code by clicking ‘Get Your Identity Code’ at the end of the instructions. There is no clickable area. Anyone else have this breakdown?
We are experiencing an issue with importing from Chase Bank/Investments when using TurboTax CD/Download software. We are working to resolve the issue.
I am stuck with Fidelity Investments as well. Please let me know what to do to go past it.

If need be you can also enter a large number of transactions into Turbo Tax.
You gotta fix this!! My whole **bleep** filing which is zillions of pages is hung up
because of this. Mine is Edward Jones. It has nothing to do with browsers as
I am using the downloaded version..
Data seems to download OK into the 1099B worksheets.
After years of great results product is now unusable.

Can you please provide additional details regarding the issue you are experiencing? Which forms from Edward Jones are you having trouble importing?
Having the same issues with Fidelity. Using the downloaded version of Turbo Tax. Will not import the Fidelity investment back info either. Program prompts "confirm your financial instution info" in infinite loop regardless of if the info is inputed.
Downloading Edward Jones 1099B
I get "confirm your financial institution info " The name of the institution is blank. I
am invited to check "I need to change the name or account number" If I check that,
Edward Jones is not listed, so I check "Not Listed" , fill in Edward Jones in the second
box, the account # in the third box. Continue takes me back to the "confirm your fin inst
info." Stuck in that loop.
Going to FORMS form 1099B Edward Jones wks there was a red ! mark. I can't remember exactly
where there was a yellowed box -- something about ownership of the account. I checked
that and the ! went away. The data looks correct on the form, but in the dialogue section
the info from the Jones 1099B does not show up.
I do have a paper copy of the 1099B
Since I can't move on, this is a fatal flaw. In years, first ever Turbo tax problem. Bill[PII removed]
I am not able to import JP Morgan securities right user ID, passwords and get your ID. What is the problem
I am stuck in the same loop! I imported my docs from Raymond James and E-Trade and it seemed ok then I imported from AssetMark and this loop started.
Please Help we are STUCK!!
I have experienced the same issue, even I choose manually input the information, the loop still exists
Relative to my Jones import, I was stuck in the loop. Couldn't exit that part.
Looked at FORMS and it appeared to have imported OK.
Saved files. Did a force quit. Restart and I could work on other things.
I ran a federal check and it was OK. I was afraid the Jones import problem would
cause an unrecoverable error but it didn't..
I solved the Charles Schwab download by doing it late at night.
BH Less unstable now...
We are experiencing an issue that our experts are working to resolve. The issue will not be resolved until after the tax deadline.
Please follow the instructions here to use the workaround for the issue.
Any answers? I don't see the box to click for identity code either. I don't want to enter manually and then have to mail in forms.
@KPCON Did you follow the instructions above? As this issue will not be resolved until after tax deadline approaches so we have assisted in creating a alternate solution.
I have figured out how to solve this problem manually, just put the broker's name there, and saved, then re-open and update the name, this is the only way to solve this problem.
I have to complain this time, called Turboxtax two times and the final solution was to use the online version and I have to redo everything again, then I was stuck on a connection dropped issue which has not been solved as well...
I got some luck this time to figure it out this time myself, I hope Turbotax should give us an explanation and solution.
I'm having the same problem. Trying to manually enter data from Equiniti Trust Company and I'm in the same loop of having to re enter information that Turbo tax won't take. How do we fix this? [email address removed]
It's now nearly six months after the tax deadline (I got an extension) and I'm having the same problem. Doing it by hand would take forever and a day, so it is not an acceptable solution.
Why can't I import data from Fidelity financial institution for 2022 tax year?
Timsum24, you have my sympathies. The reason why you can't import the Fidelity file is probably due to a disconnect at Intuit. You can hope that someone win the TurboTax Help community will have a better answer, but by my experience from last year....good luck with that! Their staff who visit this site suggested entering the numbers manually. Clearly, they don't have a portfolio with 300 lines of transactions.
I hope my experience this year is better than last. I ended up going back to my fiduciary, that is JPMorgan, and shaking their tree. They found a workaround. You should probably call Fidelity and ask them for help. Intuit was not helpful.
