Stimulus check for dual resident

I was US resident between Jan-March 2020, and then became non-resident. TT is saying I am due the first two stimulus checks as I didn't receive them. I didn't think I was eligible for them, but maybe I am? Or has TT made an error here maybe?

Thanks.

Since you are using a form 1040 and filing as resident, TurboTax is considering you eligible.  However, since you were non-resident at the end of the year you should be filing a 1040NR.  TurboTax does not support that form, however you can use Sprintax for assistance.

Here is a link for reference.  See the paragraph titled "Non-resident at the end of the year".
