Still Getting Message: TurboTax Business 2023 transmissions are not available

Hello,

I keep getting messages while trying to transmit my tax documents, "Tax Year 2023 transmissions are not available. TurboTax is not ready to process Tax Year 2023 for this return."

I am trying to e-file my Federal 1065 and My GA State Partnership documents. GA state should have been available to accept the documents on 3/8/24. It's 3/9/24 now. I use the TurboTax Business Desktop software for Windows. Is there an update coming to the TurboTax Software that hasn't been pushed out that is causing this issue? My software is up to date as of today.

FYI, all my documents are supported to be accepted by GA state via e-filing.

I am having the same issue. I just got off call with support tech that signed in to share my screen to review. She did not have a solution but asked me to call Business Support on Monday (closed on weekends). The number she gave me to call is [phone number removed]. I will call Monday. Worst case...I guess I will have to paper file. Have e filed the same forms with Turbo Tax since 2010. I don't know anything else to try.

If you have no errors on final Review / Smart Check, the e-file transmission error may be due to a large attachment, typically Form 8453 (Transmittal for e-File). Check the file size of this signed form PDF (or any other attachments). Generally, any file over 1-2 MB may cause a transmission error. TurboTax will convert an overly large file into an image, which you can see if you check your attachments. Reduce the file size (see link below) and replace the uploaded file.

You might also need to close other windows that are open, especially programs that are resource intensive.

I e filed federal 1065. State of GA Form 700 still won't transmit for efile. I will print for mail.

The TT availability lists GA Partnerships available for e file on March 8th. I'm not sure if it will be available for filing due date of 3/15/24

Form 8453 is not accepted for e-filing by Georgia state. That's the issue. Not sure why this year it's not accepted but apparently they are having issues with efiling this year. I efiled my federal and mailed my Georgia documents.

Although the Forms Availability Table for TurboTax Business indicates that the Georgia State Income modules for all business entities are ready for filing, recent developments have delayed implementation. Since we have not been given an estimated release date, you may wish to consider requesting an extension of time to file.

According to the Georgia Department of Revenue, if you have a filed a Federal extension (Form 7004) by the original due date of your return, you will be granted an additional 6 months to file your Georgia return. Form 7004 is available in all versions of TurboTax Business.

If you have already filed the federal return, you can still extend the Georgia return by using Form IT-303.

Thanks for the info. It's just easier mailing it at this point. I have to get my K1s out. Hopefully, this does not happen again next year.

Couldn't find this answer until today so I missed the filing deadline TT!  The message said TT was having transmission problems so I thought you would get your IT problems fixed before March 15, but alas no.
