Step by step instructions drop questions on revisit

I noticed that when first stepping through a 1099-R I had entered for a traditional IRA distribution, the step by step instructions asked me what my basis was in that position. Upon revisiting the same entry, the question was never asked again, leaving manual entry in form 8606 as the only way to change an erroneous basis entry. Is there a way to get back to the original set of step by step questions?

I think you are referring to the screen that asks if there are any non-deductible contributions to your traditional IRA account:

First you enter your IRA distribution information and answer questions about it. Then you come to the summary screen that says Your 1099-R Entries. You need to continue on past that screen to the the screen referenced above. Maybe are you stopping when you see the summary screen so you don't see the non-deductible contributions screen?
