I finished and e-filed for 2024, 2 federal and 2 state taxes. I saved all copies to pdf on my desktop. I have adobe acrobat. When I went to print a hard copy of both, the federal printed out fine. The state would print the 1st page on both and then gibberish/wing dings for the rest. I have used TT for years and have never seen this. I emptied my cache , cookies etc and restarted my computer and my HP printer. All programs are up to date. It is still printing the gibberish.
Follow the steps in this link to see if they assist.
If you are still having issues printing, try updating your program as that might resolve the printing issues as well.
If you prepared your return using the desktop product, select Online in the menu on the top, and then select Check for Updates.
If that does not update your program, you can also manually update your program.
If you prepared your return using TurboTax Online, try clearing your cache and see if that helps.
I tried updating the program and printing. The gibberish started again. Then I tried to print from the saved PDF and it worked on one tax return, but not the other one. All other PDF's are printing fine through other programs/emails. It seems to only be through Turbo Tax.
