SSDI and Georgia

Am I correct in my understanding that there is no need to report Social Security Disability Income (SSDI) on a Georgia income tax return because Georgia does not tax any Social Security benefits?

My son Received a SSA-1099 and he only receives SSDI.

Thanks!

If the Social Security benefits is the Only income to be reported on the tax return and there is no federal income taxes being withheld, then there is no reason or need to file a tax return, federal or a Georgia state return.
