Spouse's residency

I am a military member. My residency is in AZ. My wife lived in AZ for 2 years and is registered to vote in AZ, before I joined and got stationed in MT. For our past few tax years I had her as a MT resident since she worked while we were there. We are now stationed in TX as of November 2016. Can i put her residency as AZ? She did not work last year in MT nor now in TX.

Based on the fact that she lived in AZ for 2 years and was registered to vote in AZ before you joined the service, she is an AZ resident.

It doesn't make any difference whether she works in any state where you two are stationed, she is still an AZ resident.
