Sold land, received 1099 have home and business addition, search doesn't work, no jump to nothing. No place to enter 1099S, nothing under investments.

Cannot find any place to put in the sale of land, none of the instructions work, paid for home and office, one instruction says need premium, that has to be wrong. This on-line only is awful, why doesn't search work, take me online and never answers question

Try this. You will need the Premium or higher version of the program to enter this sale (Home & Business edition definitely covers this sale).

Since this is not your main residence, the sale of your land is considered a sale of investment property.

Enter Sale of your Second Home, Inherited property or Land here:

Open your return (if not already open).
Enter "sold second home" in the Search box.
Click on "jump to sold second home" link.
Proceed through the program screens... entering your information.
