So when it says ready to mail does that mean I have to mail my returns? Or what does that mean because I thought I was getting my returns through direct deposit

You most likely bypassed clicking the circle to have your refund deposited.  Go back through the steps (start at "review") and make sure you check the circle for "how do you want to file"
