So for some reason my personal addresss shows Italy for my state and I have gone to the both the easy step and forms side and cannot remove that data point

In TurboTax Desktop, 

 

• Return to Personal Info and You & Your Family.
• At the screen Your Personal Info Summary, click to the right of Mailing Address & Phone Number.
• Check the box in the upper left hand corner of the screen.  
• Make sure that it says US Address and not something else.
