Smart check is saying i need to check my return. It points to a section about not having health insurance all year. It doesnt accept anything as valid

RI-1040. Line 12b Individual Mandate Penalty Check to certify fullyear coverage is not accepting either value of ticked or not ticked. Constantly pointing at it saying there is an issue. Was only insured for part of the year.

This only helps if you have a phone that is currently working. I do not. Phone is broken. Thus is why I am on this site hoping for help.

Though I have found a workaround. Not going to be using turbotax anymore. 8 year customer here, having a really bad experience with turbo tax this year. Will not do this again.

Found a better site to use here - https://www.irs.gov/filing/free-file-do-your-federal-taxes-for-free

same exact issue here... in an endless loop trying to e-file but checking or unchecking does not fix. Def don't want to print and file by mail.
