Since I use the ACA for my insurance, that makes my very simple return become complicated. Who lobbied to screw over poor ppl now that the gov has subsidized tax returns.

Anyone want to share the codes those who can afford memberships or what else to get a discount from greedy TurboTax, or I'll have to start all over with the truly free tax return filing companies.

You have to use the IRS free file program to get truly free tax filing.

No, there's plenty of free ones. Cash app, Chime, PayPal, then the other actually free tax companies. The totally free is now as common as the paid companies like TurboTax.
