Should we be expecting a 1099 INT for CA state refunds as well?

Hi,

I received a 1099-INT for my Federal refund last year-2020 for the Tax year 2019. Should I have received one from CA State as well for my State refund?

Or interest on refunds is just a Federal Tax/IRS thing?

If you received interest from the State of CA, you should receive a 1099-INT.
