Should TTax Home & Business become unresponsive when trying to save file to a pdf?

Every time I try to save to a pdf, the program freezes

The program shouldn't become unresponsive. Check your Internet connection. Assuming you have all of the minimum system requirements, you might also try clearing your cache and cookies.  Try restarting your device, or using a different browser; Chrome tends to work well. If after trying all of the options mentioned you still have the same problem:

See this help article for instructions on how to contact TurboTax customer support depending on which product you are using.

Some Mac users have experienced issues with printing this year. If you want to print your entire return (or save as PDF) all of the forms and schedules that TurboTax created, using TurboTax for Mac, with a return open in the program:

  1. Go to the TurboTax top menu bar and select File
  2. Select Print from the dropdown menu that appears
  3. In the pop-up window that follows, use the radio buttons to select to print either:

  •  Tax return only
  •  Recommended forms & worksheets OR
  •  All forms & schedules

Selecting "All forms & schedules" will produce copies of all of the documents TurboTax has created.

        4. Click Continue

        5. Review the choices in the print menu. To print to PDF, choose "PDF" in the lower left corner of the print window.

After a few days, the issue corrected itself. I could save to a pdf but the spinner indicated that TTax H&B became unresponsive. I have a mac and it takes a while to load.
